Hawaiian Heart

Currently in pre-production, Hawaiian Heart will be Josh's feature directorial debut. With 14 original songs written by Josh and Grammy Award winner John Cruz, Hawaiian Heart is a love letter to Hawaii, a musical celebration, and a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy about coming back home. The film will be Executive Produced by Bryan Spicer (Executive Producer of Hawaii 5-0 and Magnum P.I.), and by Branscombe Richmond (Finding Ohana, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates). Hawaiian Heart is being made by Sight and Sound Productions and Endless Media.

Almost Real Life

Almost Real Life is a musical comedy ... with puppets. The show was created by Josh, who developed it with Endless Media's creative director, Andrew Joustra. Each episode will follow Mike Fender, a young puppet enrolled at Puppet University , as he makes new friends, discovers that his expectations for college clash with reality, and embarks on a journey to find himself. All of which should hopefully take at least four seasons.

The songs on the show will be written by Josh and produced by Anthony Marinelli (Thriller). Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager, The Wonder Years) is attached to play one of the lead human characters.

Watch the video below to see a storyboard sequence Josh directed for the opening of Almost Real Life. It's set to a test track of the show's theme song by Josh and Anthony Marinelli. The Song is performed by Jess Harnell (Animaniacs, Transformers).

Spirits

Spirits is an adult animated comedy about a young woman named Evelyn who sees ghosts... but only when she's drunk. When she’s recruited by a covert government agency for this “talent,” she puts getting her shit together on hold to save the world, one demon at a time. Spirits was created by Josh and developed in partnership with Andrew Joustra.

There’s Something Wrong with RAM is an animated action comedy series created by Josh and developed in partnership with Andrew Joustra and JJ Conway (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).

When three middle schoolers awaken a robot with amnesia, it’s time to put their pre-teen drama behind them and figure out what’s wrong with Ram in time to save the world.
